Slanjayvah Danza are committed to sharing the vision and artistry of the company with its local and touring communities. Alongside each work, the company devise and deliver a variety of educational packages. We firmly believe that there is a fundamental and intrinsic link between the creation of performance work and the leading of participatory projects. Therefore, ALL our workshops and residencies are led exclusively by the Artistic Director and Performers so that participants are offered a true insight into Slanjayvah Danza’s work and choreography, whilst being encouraged to explore their own dance skills.

A variety of set workshops and education packs are available to both teachers and students. These fulfil curriculum study programmes in several areas and are particularly suited to GCSE or A-Level dance students, students of performing or creative arts, youth dance groups and community groups.

However, tailor-made individual workshops and residencies will meet all your education and dance requirements. We work with all age groups, abilities and ranges of experience, embracing social and cultural differences, which enrich the experience. We aim to develop individuals’ confidence, movement skills, creativity, self-expression, team work and problem solving, through dance.
