Aurora is an award winning* visual artist who has been working professionally in film and media for six years as both a Director and Editor. Graduating from the Northern Film School in 2005 she worked on
a range of TV commercials,documentaries, music videos, live events and broadcast drama series. These projects have taken her all over Europe, Australasia and to the Middle East.

Aurora's collaborative work specifically with Jenni Wren has progressed over the years, earning her the title of Associate Artist. With previous success of projects such as "Blind Passion" - Raw Cut and "The Gin Chronicles", "Crazy Joanna" has marked a new stage in the future progress of her working role with Slanjayvah Danza.

The success of narrative integrated dance/film "Crazy Joanna" was further validated when section 3 of the film was selected and screened for last years Underwire Film Festival in the editing category and through the virgin media shorts, was invited to the Newport Beach Film Festival in California.

Aurora is currently working as an independent artist having departed from Left Eye Blind collaborative in 2011. A talented film director, editor and festival curator, she continues to work in the film industry, directing a new short through the Green ShootsScheme, continuing to establish her own voice with Little Northern Light, her own production company.

She will continue to work with Slanjayvah Danza in dance/film as we move towards the next stages of the triple bill "Mode:Sensation/Thought" and look forward to further episodes of The SangerWren Gin Chronicles.


*In 2010 Aurora won the EPIC award from Leeds Met to finance short film, "Life on the Line", with Left Eye Blind, which will be released in March 2011. She was awarded best editor by ‘Getty Images' winning their Mishmash competition for Europe, Africa and theMiddle East and at GLIMMER International Short Film Festival in Hull she curated a music video showcase called "Burnout" based on themes of ritual and myth.
