Phil Sanger
Phil joined Slanjayvah Danza in November 2007, for the Hybrid project. He has built a strong relationship with the company and was invited to collaborate on creative projects throughout 2008/9 such as "Blind Passion" and "The SangerWren Chronicles".
Returning to the company, on film, his performance skills in "Crazy Joanna" will shock even the strongest audience members.

A keen performer from an early age, Phil began his career in Musical Theatre and trained in Martial Arts from the age of 10.
He furthered his training at the Electric Theatre, Barnsley College and the Northern School of Contemporary Dance where he received choreography and performance awards for his excellence.
Upon graduating Phil worked closely with a company of Dancers creating and touring a showcase of choreography and workshops to raise dance awareness in under privileged areas. He has since worked with some of the UK's leading choreographers such as Shobana Jeyasingh, Kim Branstrup and FinWalker and is now a member of Phoenix Dance Theatre.
Phil contines to produce work of his own design supported by Arts Council England and Pricewaterhouse Cooper and has recently produced a programme of works alongside AD Jenni Wren under the banner of The SCORE (A SangerWren Production). This autumn will see the acclaimed choreographic duo produce the next SangerWren Chronicle, with Aurora Fearnley in the autumn of 2010.
