Riccardo Meneghini

Riccardo joined Slanjayvah Danza at the beginnign of 2009 to partner Jenni Wren in "Blind Passion" - Live Cut and to portray Prince Philip of Flanders in "Crazy Joanna".

Riccardo Meneghini has a back ground in agonistic judo; Graduated from I.S.E.F. (University of Verona).  After gaining a diploma in Physical Education he  attended professional course at "Accademia Isola Danza" (Venice) and Laban Centre London as G.D.P. (graduate diploma in performance) before becoming a member of "Transitions Dance Company" 2001/2002.

He has worked with such choreographers as Russell Maliphant, Rui Horta, Didi Veldman, JanetSmith, Carolyn Carlson, Malou Airaudo, Liv Lorent and companies including Scottish Dance Theatre, DV8 Physical Theatre, CCN Robuaix and Balletto Teatro Torino while developing his own choreography and working as a freelance performer and teacher.

Riccardo is a talented and versatile dance artist/maker and currently has two works in his own rep programme, supported by ACE Yorkshire.
