Jen Wren is currently in research for a new solo performance exploring the topic of Imposter Syndrome through dance, storytelling, theatre and comedy. Working with the amazing Irish actor/writer Pat Kinevane to research a solo dance performance about the doubting conscience of the Outsider and questions whether, in fact, we’re all the same.
As part of its commitment to growing dance audiences, particularly in remote and rural areas, Slanjayvah Danza productions will develop a dialogue with audiences during the research period, creation stage and rehearsal process. The journey has begun! Away Wi The Faeries is a brand new Scottish folk tale, a spell-binding journey about 3 Faerie children who appear to start going, ‘M-A-D’

Fearful of the prophecy long ago foretold, that speaks of sacrifices, rituals and the fading energy of the Faerie realm, the children are separated, hidden in the human realm, safe from the fate of the prophecy, until destiny reunites them… through their love for Music, Art and Dance.
Featuring 4 professional performers, 3 young faeries and accompanied by original music from some of Scotlands most talented artists.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
