Moving in
Over the past year, we have supported a complete refurbishment of a beautiful old farm steading and courtyard into indoor and outdoor spaces that we will call home. The premises belong to Mór Art Space and in 2024 they became our newest partner and we can’t wait to work along side them.
Based in our small and quiet rural village of Rait, in Perthshire, the workshop studio is a calm, warm and inviting rural artistic hub where we can:
Work steadily and consistently to realise our visions and ambitions
Lead, support and nurture professional and community programmes.
Think, research, collaborate, learn, train, develop, physicalise ideas, create and share.
Unite a range of diverse communities, cultures, artistic forms and practices
Host and deliver a range of social artistic events.
There are 2 adjoining spaces in the building, The Snug and the Studio. These can be closed off to one another or opened to create a bigger space. The Snug has a raw wooden floor, comfy seats and a stove to create a cozy space. The studio has an edge-to-edge harlequin floor and is furniture-free.
At these early stages, Mór Art Space are still planning and developing the studio diary and we will be working alongside them to bring community activities to the village of Rait.
We are not quite ready to put calls out for upcoming opportunities yet, HOWEVER, if you have any immediate questions, are interested in supporting/partnering/working with us, using the studio for your creative endeavours or hiring it for an artistic event – or if you simply have an idea you want to share with us, we would love to hear from you!
